The Ghosts of Forbidden Ridge
Is it really ghosts that haunt Forbidden Ridge, or something more sinister?
Young Matthew (Matt) Connacht travels from his mother's farm in Ohio to learn what has happened to her brother, Parson Jacques Eion-Baptiste; a predictable man who faithfully writes three to four letters a year to his sister. It has been nearly two years since his last letter - a letter detailing strange activities near a place called Forbidden Ridge.
Matt's arrival at San Vicente de la Cienaga is met by a series of queer situations leading him to believe his uncle is not dead, but has vanished like most of the men of the town. Sheriff Miles Tate is quick to blame this occurrence on the ghosts of Forbidden Ridge - and sternly warns everyone to steer clear of the Ridge.
From an accident on Forbidden Ridge, Matt meets the widow Juanita Mercado and her daughter, Esperanza. Esperanza tells Matt her mother and Parson Jake are engaged. And that her two brothers also vanished a short while after Parson Jake disappeared, while looking for him. Together the trio form a team committed to finding Parson Jake and the men of the town. And to discover the truth about the ghosts of Forbidden Ridge. However, Matt never figured on loosing his heart to the spunky and attractive Esperanza, or feel needed like she makes him feel.
In their quest, will the trio be willing to pay the price as their clues link the good sheriff to the notorious Breasal Gang? Will Juanita be willing to trade her ranchero to the Gang for the return of Parson Jake? Will Matt be willing to make the 300 mile trip to Santa Fe to seek the Governor's assistance in removing Miles Tate as sheriff, leaving Esperanza vulnerable to being kidnapped by the Breasal Gang and sold into slavery in Mexico? Will Esperanza overcome her fear of Jocelyn Breasal, and step out in faith and compassion to be a friend to her, when Jocelyn seeks refuge in the church after her brother badly batters her?
With a plan based on courage, faith, and a couple old Bible stories the trio rally the town's people to help with finding the men of the town and disclose the truth about Forbidden Ridge, giving the Sheriff and the Breasal Gang the scare of their lives.

FOUR TO WED
Romance blossoms in Mount Central during Pastor Charles' second year; as Larry and Ivy-Lynn plan a Valentine wedding, to be followed by a romantic candlelight wedding in June for Charles and Amy. Bob and Kim plan to wed when Autumn's colors change the mountains into a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors, and a special couple (to be your surprise) plan a December wedding.
